One of our favorite parts of private practice is Admin Day, when you can kick up your feet anywhere you choose - at a cafe, next to the fireplace, or in front of Netflix! We highly recommend having a regular Admin Day to catch up on little tasks so they don't become backlogged and snowball into larger issues.

Wondering what Admin Day entails? Here's a list of the items Susie & Kristen typically address on a weekly basis. We recommend keeping a running tab of tasks that need to be completed, such as renewing insurance authorizations, checking benefits, etc.

To make sure we get everything done, we like to keep the list where we can easily access it and not lose it, such as the "Sticky Notes" app on our desktop, a visual organizational app like Trello, a Task List on Gmail, a simple document on Google Docs, the Notes app on a smartphone, or in the Notes section of a planner!
